Christ said, “the hour comes, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and truth” (John 4:23). The Messiah’s Advocate will teach you how to worship the Father in spirit and truth. Up until now, we’ve been worshipping the Father in person. Christ knew this would happen so he said the hour would come while saying “now is” the time. When Christ was among us, he taught us how to worship the Father in spirit and in truth, but that generation was unable to comprehend his spiritual teachings. They were instead fooled into worshipping his person. Today, we will revisit his spiritual teachings, and this time we are going to comprehend.

The angel Gabriel told the prophet Daniel that many shall go back and forth and knowledge will be increased. Christ said, “I have yet many things to say unto you, but you cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth; for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak; and he will show you things to come. He shall glorify me; for he shall receive of mine and shall shew it to you. All things that the Father have are mine; therefore, I said, then he shall take mine, and shall shew it to you”. (John 16:12-15).

The Messiah’s Advocate rediscovers the spiritual teaching of the Old Testament. It uses the teachings of Christ to enrich the teachings of the Father. The teachings that proceeded Christ are the Father. All that comes from the heavens are the Father (John 14:28). The teachings of the Son are the teachings of Christ on earth. The Son is the enrichment of the Father’s teachings that saved the world from sin (Luke 13:8). The Messiah said that we are no longer servants when we know what our Lord is doing (John 15:15). This book is an expository work that will leave you with a firm understanding of what our Lord is doing.
